SendOutCards - For Travellers

Hey fellow travellers - have you ever sat down and thought "I wish there was an easy, unique and fun way to stay in touch with my Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Best Friend, Boy Friend, great Uncle Gus . . . while I'm away?"

I know you have, because I just made you. Don't worry I don't have mind control, I can just read your mind. No just kidding, but because you've been thinking about this I've got to tell you about a neat service I just love using.

The cool thing about it is that you can use it to keep in touch from wherever you are, you just need access to a computer and the net.

If you are at an internet cafe in Timbuktu you can send a card to your Mom telling her how much you love it there. You can even put the picture you took on the cover of all the stuff you found while on vacation that she lost when you were growing up because she said "who knows where it is, it could be in Timbuktu for all I know!"

You could never find a card with a picture like that on it anywhere else. And who wants to go searching all over Timbuktu for a card shop or post office anyway?

Are you thinking "Seriously, I can upload my vacation pictures and make them into a high quality greeting card or post card?"

I knew you were thinking that, and yes you can. Just think how happy your Grandma would be to get a card with a picture on the cover of her favorite grandchild's smiling face on vacation. And then when she opens it, she finds a message written by you (because your fingers are on vacation too) saying " Dear Grandma I love it here in Barbados, but I miss you and I can't wait to see you when I get home. P.S. I also really miss that amazing apple pie you always make when I come to visit (hint, hint) I'll be back on Jan 5th.

Can you see why I love this service so much!? You don't have to settle for a generic card anymore. Your cards can be as unique as you are. You can choose from thousands of cards they have and add your own message inside, or you can upload your own picture for a 100% unique card.

My family and friends love getting these cards and they think it's so cool that the cards look just like I got them at a card shop (as far a quality goes) except better because the message is completely unique and personal.

You don't only have to use them when you're traveling, but they work really awesome when you are. People love getting cards anytime. I know I do. There is something so much more personal about getting a card in the mail then just reading an email. It comes one day with the other mail "surprise" you wonder who it's from and what it's about, you open it up, you read it, you smile and set it on the buffet, mantle, or top of the refrigerator (my spot) for you and everyone else to see. It just feels good :)
